An Occupational Therapist can help people of all ages, from children to older adults. Their primary goals are to support their clients to achieve independence, engage in their meaningful occupations and improve their quality of life.
OTs assess a person’s abilities and the difficulties they have in performing their daily activities and achieving their goals. They develop individualised intervention plans to suit each client’s needs and goals and work with the client, their family and support network to achieve these goals.
